Abdu Murat Mannab took second place in the recitation competition

NIS Kokshetau 12th grade student Abdumurat Mannab took second place in the “Söz marzhany – urpakka mura” reading competition dedicated to the 110th anniversary of Kazakh writer Ilyas Esenberlin.

Ilyas Esenberlin is an outstanding writer whose name occupies an important place in the history of Kazakh literature. His works reflect the heroic past of Kazakhstan and national values.

The competition, organized by the Kokshetau Palace of Culture as part of the celebration of the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan, brought together participants demonstrating their skills in artistic reading.

Abdu-Murad read the poem “Otyrar Dastany” by poet Mukhtar Shakhanov. This work is dedicated to the history of the ancient city of Otyrar, an important cultural and commercial center of Central Asia, as well as the events associated with its heroic defense. Abdumurad's reading was distinguished by clear diction, expressiveness, and a deep understanding of the text.
