In celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Astana, the Unesco Club organized a network podcast competition, "Kuyrykty Zhuldyzdai Zhark Etken...", dedicated to the heritage of the great Kazakh scientist, Shokan Ualikhanov.

Among the participants from all corners of the country, Dana Bolat and Ilkar Sabyraly, pupils of the 9th grade at NIS Kokshetau, showed themselves worthy by taking second place. They revealed a deep knowledge of historical material and demonstrated a high level of artistry and media literacy.

According to project manager Alina Moroz, the contest revealed the students' creative and analytical potential.

"They managed to convey the spirit of the era in which Shokan lived through the podcast format — vividly, sincerely, and with deep respect for history. It was a mature, thoughtful project where every detail was in its place," she said.

Additionally, our students achieved another success: they received an invitation to the Debat Eli Academy debate camp, a training program that brings together high school and college students from across Kazakhstan. The academy included training sessions, debate tournaments, and master classes. Dana and Īnkär participated actively and confidently, developing their argumentation, critical thinking, and public speaking skills.

According to Ulan Zeynelqabden, the head of the debate club, this year has indeed been a fruitful one for them.

“They showed perseverance in their studies and in every competition and tournament. They were able to complete their projects. I am confident that they will achieve even greater success in the next academic year," he said.
