Azhar Sarsenbai - winner of the republican competition "Abay okulary"

Azhar Sarsenbai won the 1st place in the republican competition "Abay Okulary", demonstrating a high level of preparation, deep understanding of Abay Kunanbayev's creative work and expressive artistic performance.

According to Azhar, participation in the contest was a great honor and responsibility for her.

"This competition is an important event aimed at deep understanding and popularization of the heritage of the great Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbayev. Recognizing his spiritual heritage, I began to better understand my native language, literature and national values", - said the winner.

Preparation for the contest began several weeks before the event. During this time, Azhar studied Abay's poems and prose, trying to penetrate their meaning. She paid special attention to expressive reading, intonation and stage culture under the guidance of her mentor Miramkul Mukhambedyarova.

Among the poet's works, Azhar was most impressed by the poem "Kөңіlіm kaldy dostan da, dushpannan da," which, in her opinion, reflects Abay's profound experience of life.

"The meaning and poetic expressiveness of this work is close to my heart," added Azhar.
