School self-government

School self—government is a system in which students take an active part in school management and school issues. It serves several important purposes:

Leadership development: Students involved in self-management teach organization, planning, and decision-making. This helps to develop their leadership, responsibility and teamwork skills.

Improving school life: Self-government helps to take into account the opinion of students themselves when organizing school events, improving learning conditions, and creating a comfortable atmosphere at school. This helps to increase the involvement of students in school life.

Honing communication skills: Students working in school self-government often communicate with teachers, administrators and other students, which contributes to the development of their communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Democratic participation: School self-government gives students the opportunity to participate in decision-making, which contributes to the development of an understanding of the principles of democracy, such as electability, responsibility and equality.

Thus, school self—government is an important tool for developing students' personal responsibility, social skills and civic engagement.
