2013

On September 11, the solemn opening of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemical and Biological direction took place in Atyrau.

2014

On February 6, the First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev visited the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Atyrau.

2015

A solemn opening ceremony of the Fariza Ongarsynova class room was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School.

2016

The first regional forum of secondary school students "Mangilik el muragerleri" was held, dedicated to the 25'th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2017

Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemistry and Biology of Atyrau city has officially received international accreditation from the CIS Council of International Schools in the Netherlands.

2018

To implement the program article of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev "A look into the future: Modernization of public consciousness", a small project office was created at the Intellectual School.

2019

68 graduates of the Atyrau Intellectual School completed a full cycle of 12-year education for the first time.

2020

Kuralai Akhmadieva was appointed Director of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemical and Biological Direction in Atyrau. Aidarbek Aitpukeshev who headed the school for 5 years, was appointed director of the NIS of Uralsk.

2021

A solar station installed by Shell oil and gas company has been put into operation in Atyrau NIS. This is the fourth photovoltaic system of the joint project "Solar Energy for Schools" between NIS and Shell.

2022

Yerali Bizhanov was appointed principal of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of the city of Atyrau. Chairman of the Board of AOO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" Kulyash Shamshidinova thanked for the successful work of Kuralai Akhmadieva, who headed the NIS Atyrau for several years.

2023

Atyrau NIS is 10 years old! The solemn ceremony was attended by Aitpukeshev, K. Akhmadieva, members of the Board of Trustees, parents and students. The guests were presented with a fair of students' achievements in education, science, sports and art. A festive flash mob was also held at the school stadium.

2024

NIS chemistry teachers from Atyrau, Syed Abbas Asif and Rakhymzhan Kosanov, presented a unique study on the topic "Water-hydrogen electrochemical element" at the 9th International Congress of European Chemical Sciences in Dublin, Ireland.

2025

With the change of the name of the branches of the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools network, NIS Atyrau was renamed the school from the chemical-biological direction to the natural-mathematical direction. Also in April 2025, the intellectual school of the region successfully passed the re-accreditation of the CIS Council of International Schools and once again confirmed its compliance with the International Educational Standard.
