Pearls of Wisdom — A Treasure Trove of Folk Wisdom

As part of the project “Proverbs and Sayings in My Life,” NIS Atyrau hosted an educational competition titled “Söz Marjany” (“Pearls of Wisdom”) for students of Grade 8V.

The event opened with Kurmangazy’s kuy “Balbyraun,” setting the stage for the young intellectuals to demonstrate their quick thinking, eloquence, and knowledge.

The students competed in several rounds, including “Complete the Proverb,” “Polyglot,” “Do Not Blame Others If You Have Not Worked Hard,” and “Kahoot.” They demonstrated their understanding of traditional wisdom by presenting proverbs and sayings in three languages and showcasing their knowledge and language skills.

Celebrating national values, this educational competition inspired the younger generation to appreciate the art of words and recognize the importance of the precious heritage passed down from one generation to the next.
