“When the Children of All Alash Gather, the Place of Honor Belongs to the Teacher”

Magzhan Zhumabayev, a prominent Kazakh intellectual and educator, expressed and emphasized the profound role and value of teachers in the destiny of the nation with this powerful phrase many decades ago. Indeed, while eras have changed, the face of society has evolved, and the horizons of knowledge have expanded, the teacher’s place in society has never diminished.

In celebration of this special occasion, teachers of NIS Atyrau were also honored and recognized. Several teachers received special awards. Beautiful songs, graceful dances, and a special concert program created a warm and festive atmosphere for the teachers. A special gift from the parents to the school community was a theatrical performance dedicated to teachers by the actors of the Makhambet Academic Kazakh Drama Theatre, which became one of the highlights of the evening.

A teacher is a guiding light not only for today, but also for the future. A teacher is a companion and guide not for a single lesson, but for an entire lifetime. And every word spoken by a teacher can become a lifelong compass for a student.
