The second day of the "Tugan Elge Tagzym" (Homage to the Motherland) expedition project in Ust-Kamenogorsk was filled with insightful meetings and educational excursions. As part of this year's project, intellectual school students from Atyrau explored the industrial potential and historical-cultural heritage of the region.

During the first half of the day, the participants visited one of the country's strategically important enterprises — the Ulba Metallurgical Plant. During the tour, the students learned about the plant's history, fields of activity, and modern production technologies. Specialists spoke about the company's role in the economy of Kazakhstan and its achievements in high-tech manufacturing, introducing the students to the specific features of the production process.

The next part of the program took place at the East Kazakhstan Regional Museum of History and Local Lore. Here, the students discovered new insights into the region's rich history, archaeological artifacts, ethnographic assets, and natural features. Through the exhibitions, the students gained a comprehensive understanding of East Kazakhstan's development from ancient times to the present day.

The main goal of the expedition project is to showcase the unique characteristics of each region in the country, increase young people's interest in the history of their homeland, and expand their cultural and spiritual horizons. The second day of the trip to Ust-Kamenogorsk allowed the participants to gain a deeper understanding of the industrial power and historical wealth of the Eastern region.
