Workshop "Schools of the Future"

A workshop for teachers of the Schools of the Future network "Laboratory of Modern Schools: practical skills for teachers" was organized on the basis of NIS in Atyrau. The main purpose of the event is to develop teachers' skills in methodically effective and safe use of laboratory equipment in the educational process.

The seminar was attended by teachers of physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, STEAM and robotics. At the three-day practice site, participants got acquainted with the mechanisms of organizing the laboratory's work, mastered ways to plan educational experiments, use virtual laboratories and digital platforms in the classroom.

As part of the program, experienced NIS teachers and heads of methodological associations, including specialists from the Central Research Institute at the NIS, conducted master classes and showed practical learning experiments based on the principle of idea to practice. Special attention was paid to the issues of lesson reflection and analysis of its effectiveness.

At the end of the seminar, the participants offered feedback, noting that meetings in such a practical format are an important platform for improving the professional potential of teachers.
