We started reading books together

This year, the students of grade 7 "G" together with their parents decided to start reading books together. 9 works were selected for this purpose, and the first book to be discussed was Ray Douglas Bradbury's novel "Dandelion Wine".

The main goal of the project is to increase students' interest in reading. During the event, the children divided into groups and prepared posters on issues related to the introduction, the main part and the conclusion of the work.

With the help of the Kahoot game, questions were asked about the contents of the book. For example:

– How do you think Ray Bradbury shows the harmony between man and nature at the beginning of the work and why this connection is important?

– Why was the name "Dandelion Wine" chosen as a symbol of childhood and the transience of life?

– How did the author's memories of childhood and native places affect the content and atmosphere of the book? The next stage will be the book "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. Students will soon begin to immerse themselves in its deep meaning.
