A scientific project that opened the way to a patent

A student of NIS in Atyrau, Zhanerke Yerbolatova, together with her supervisor, chemistry teacher Rahimzhan Kosanov and scientists from Atyrau University of Oil and Gas named after Safi Utebayev, conducted a scientific study on the topic "method of obtaining sulfuric acid."

The aim of this project is to find a solution to an important environmental problem for the region through the efficient use of residual sulfur generated during oil refining. The first results of the research work were successful, and the project received a patent. Currently, research continues and opens up new possibilities.

This achievement is the fruit of the young researcher's perseverance and the teacher's focus, as well as the interaction of science and education.
