Educational tour to Tuzdykol

The participants of the TET-2025 project visited the natural pearl of the Atyrau region, the Inderbora salt lake. This visit, organized as part of the project, is aimed at improving not only the intellectual level of children, but also their love of nature and interest in the history of the region.
A salt lake in the basin of the Inder-Caspian Depression. It is located on the territory of the Indersky district of Atyrau region, 15-18 kilometers southeast of the village of Inderbor. The area of the event is 110 km2. The length is 13.5 km, the width is 11 km, the deepest point is 0.7 m, the coastline is 40 km long. Salt springs coming out of the clays around the main source of replenishment. 1.5 million per year per lake. up to a ton of salt (mostly NaCl) is deposited. High-quality table salt containing bromine and potassium is extracted from Lake Inder. And the muddy clay of the lake is used to treat various diseases.
The children delved into the history of the lake, learned about the ecological features of the region. As an on-site laboratory work, the composition of water was studied and the process of salt crystal formation was monitored. Biology teachers provided students with interesting information about the origin of the lake, seasonal changes and the impact on the climate.
At the end of the trip, the students organized an environmental challenge, cleared the lake area of debris and contributed to nature conservation. It was an instructive step, calling for harmony with nature, encouraging concern for the environment. Thanks to such cognitive journeys, the younger generation not only learns school subjects, but also learns vital skills such as research, observation, responsibility, teamwork and respect for nature.
