Today was a special day for the participants of TET-2025. At dawn, they set off for the majestic Saraishyk.

Saraishyk is an ancient medieval city located in the territory of modern Atyrau region, which was once the capital of the Kazakh Khanate. It is located 45 km north of the city of Atyrau, near the village of Saraishyk, Makhambet district, on the right bank of the Ural River. Today, the Saraishyk visitor center serves tourists on the territory of the archaeological monument, which is included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Monuments of National Significance.

In particular, the new information and valuable exhibits that appeared in the museum in 2023 have become very useful for schoolchildren from all over the country. The museum is built in a modern style and is equipped with a variety of innovative equipment. For example, a beautiful 3D model painting telling the story of "Lake Seker" was especially memorable to visitors. According to Abulgaza Bahadur Khan, the city of Saraishyk was founded by Batu Khan, the grandson of Genghis Khan. Jochi was one of the largest cities of the Ulus empire.

Luxurious palaces for the aristocracy and administrative buildings were built here, around which quarters appeared for ordinary citizens, merchants and artisans. Once upon a time, the city became one of the major centers where trade caravans traveling along the Great Silk Road stopped. Several khans and historical figures of the Golden Horde are buried in Saraishyk, including Mengi Temir, Tokty, Zhanibek, Berdibek, Tokhtamys Khan, Barak and Kazakh Khan Kasym. Undoubtedly, this trip gave the students wonderful spiritual impressions.
