10th-grade students of Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Astana — Kalyakbar Baimukan, Abulkhair Kuanysh, and Bekzhan Bakyt — won second place at the republican agrohackathon “Innovation. Sustainability. Future.”
The event, organized by the Auyl Party together with Acapedia, focused on sustainable development, artificial intelligence, and automation. This year, around 1,200 school and university students from across the country participated in the regional stage, with more than 350 applications submitted from 20 regions of Kazakhstan.
In the финал, the students presented their project SENTRA.kz — an intelligent operating system for retail businesses. The platform combines video analytics, inventory management, and competitor analysis within a single interface.
Key features of the system include:
detecting suspicious activities and preventing theft;
creating a 2D/3D digital twin of a store;
generating traffic heat maps to analyze customer behavior and identify the most visited areas.
