Project: "Poets of the Great Steppe"
Throughout the year, the works of classic poets are widely distributed across the school, culminating in a special creative evening held simultaneously in all schools.
Goal: To promote the rich heritage of Kazakh literature’s classic poets and writers among the younger generation.
Expected Results: Students will annually gain a comprehensive understanding of the lives and works of two renowned poets, broadening their horizons.
Participants: Students of grades 7-9 from the Shanyrak communities, students of grades 10-12 by choice, school teachers, and parents.
Implementation Directions:
• Expressive recitation of the poet's poems
• Theatrical performances (staging scenes from the poet's life and work involving all Shanyrak students)
• Creative period (students write essays of 150-180 words)
• Illustration of a famous poet's work
• Singing songs with the poet's lyrics
• Conducting the "Poets of the Great Steppe" challenge
• Literary analysis of the poet’s poems

Project: "Poems of Contemporaries"
As a continuation of the "Poets of the Great Steppe" project, the "Poems of Contemporaries" project is organized in all schools, focusing on the works of poets known in the years of independence.
Implementation Directions:
• Expressive recitation of the poet's poems
• Theatrical performances (staging scenes from the poet's life and work)
• Creative period (students write essays of 150-180 words)
• Illustration of a famous poet's work
• Singing songs with the poet's lyrics
• Conducting the "Poems of Contemporaries" challenge
• Literary analysis of the poet’s poems
• Preparing a film from the collection of students' poem readings and publishing it on the school website and social media.
Participants: Students of grades 7-9 from the Shanyrak communities. This project can also be conducted among school teachers.
Full Promotion in School: Special evening for the poets of the independence years, opening a "Young Poets" club under the "Kazakh Language" department to engage students in poetry, organizing a creative evening for young poets and writers in the school, and preparing a poetry collection.
Spiritual Meetings: Meetings with young composers and poets to deepen students' understanding of the project.

Project: "Proverbs and Sayings I Use in Life"
Goal: To exalt the eternal heritage of our ancestors' priceless treasure—proverbs and sayings—in the minds of the younger generation, develop students' language skills, increase their love for their native language, promote national heritage and values, and cultivate ingenuity and oratory skills for using proverbs in everyday life.
Project Realization:
• Weekly study of three proverbs by students of grades 1-6 and at least five proverbs by students of grades 7-9, understanding their content and applying them in daily life.
• Creating videos and posting them on school YouTube channels.
• Bi-monthly competitions, games, essays, and events in various formats within Shanyrak communities.
• At the end of the academic year, project results will be included in the Shanyrak community assessment criteria.
• Parental community participation in the project.
• Special board in each school where students post proverbs they find, motivating all students.

Project: "Generational Continuity"
Goal:
• Promote active involvement of retirees and lonely elderly people in school life;
• Foster generational continuity in promoting national values through joint creative work with Shanyrak students;
• Enhance students' spiritual culture, moral, and labor education;
• Promote the role of the elderly in society;
• Improve the emotional state and daily activity of the elderly, expanding their relationships with the surrounding environment.
Participants: Shanyrak students of grades 7-12, curators, retirees.
Project Implementation:
• Assign a list of retirees and elderly people to each Shanyrak community.
• Shanyrak students organize activities to help retirees and elderly people develop necessary skills.
• Students learn from listening to the elderly's stories.
• Two-way relationships make elderly people feel useful in society, learn necessary skills, and have opportunities to volunteer in teaching.
• Students provide support to the elderly, such as house cleaning, buying medicines and groceries, yard cleaning, carrying firewood, etc., developing compassion and kindness in students.
• Organize engaging and productive events like song nights, literary evenings, retro style nights, etc. Parental community involvement in the project.

Smart Thursday
Goal: To develop an interest in science, research, and discoveries. Events are held in the format of "Meetings with Leaders of Public Opinion" featuring domestic and foreign scientists, public figures, on current issues of public life, science, economy, and culture.
Necessity:
• To spark interest in science
• Exchange experiences with domestic and foreign scientists
• Establish connections with universities
Results:
• Development of scientific research direction;
• Proper career guidance;
• Instilling scientific research skills in students to advance domestic science;
• Applying academic knowledge and skills in daily life;
• Enhancing competitiveness;
• Cultivating a highly moral individual and patriot of their country.

"100 Books"
Goal:
• Increase students' reading activity levels;
• Inculcate spiritual and historical cultural values;
• Develop functional and informational literacy.
Project Feature: Under the initiative of the AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools," a list of 100 recommended books has been prepared for students, which includes 60 famous works of Kazakh classics and 40 masterpieces of world literature in Russian and English.

• Fosters tolerance towards the cultures of other countries

Project "100 Kui History"
Goal:
• Develop students' spiritual values;
• Promote patriotic education among students;
• Foster respect for the national instrument.
1,000 students from the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Astana simultaneously playing the dombra entered the Guinness Book of Records as the largest dombra lesson. At the end of the school year, all Intellectual Schools hold a Dombra Lesson with student participation.

"100 Songs"
Goal: To develop Kazakhstani patriotism through national music and traditions, and to form students' musical culture and spiritual-moral development.
Activities:
• Joint productions
• Playing an instrument
• Listening to music
• Recording voice in the studio
• Working with a microphone
• Improvisation
• Getting to know stage movement
• Performing at a concert
• Practical activities
Project Tasks:
• Detailed study of proposed works, their creation history.
• Focus on performance techniques and features (rhythmic, intonation).
• Preparation of concert programs, stage performances.
Expected Results: Students will develop national, family, and universal values. They will learn about Kazakh song authors and their histories, and will be able to sing the learned songs.

Social Project "Service to Society"
Goal: To instill human qualities such as morality, patriotism, compassion, and kindness in students.
Expected Results: Through this project, children gain social experience in real actions, develop as individuals with an active life position, a conscious attitude towards public duty, service to society, and their country.

• Retirement home in Malotimofeevka
• "Svetoch" orphanage
• "Sharapat" and "Zhansaya" CSOs of Astana's akimat
• Animal shelters
• Assistance during emergencies

Research and Local History Expedition "Respect to the Homeland"
Goal: To stimulate students' research skills, foster patriotism through studying the geography, history, culture, ecology, fundamentals of social entrepreneurship, lifestyle, and economic activities of Kazakhstan's regions, and consolidate theoretical knowledge through project activities.
Participants: 24 students from grades 7-11 from the "Shanyrak" school community, who earned the most bonus points during the academic year, and holders of the "Best Shanyrak" cup.
Expected Result: The implementation of the local history component of AEO's educational and upbringing work; final products in various forms such as sketches, TED-style video presentations, mobile apps, websites, scientific articles, material collections, mobile maps, online video tours, brochures, virtual excursions, creative formats (poems, songs, photo collages, drawings).

Kazakh Wikipedia
Goal: To contribute to the development of Kazakh Wikipedia and the competent editing of articles in Kazakh on various topics.
Project Task:
• Establish a Wikipedia club
• Each president with their club coordinators edits articles in the lab.
• Reports are regularly posted on the special Wikipedia page of FMN NIS.

Expected Result: Within the project, students will competently edit and upload articles in Kazakh on various topics, serving and respecting the Kazakh language.
