On November 13, students of NIS FMN in Astana participated in an exciting field trip to the State Military History Museum of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan. The event was organized as part of the school project "Ұлдар кеңесі," aimed at fostering patriotism among the younger generation and instilling pride in their country.
Parents played a significant role in preparing for this event by supporting the school’s initiative. Their involvement strengthened the connection between educational and family values.
The main goal of the trip was to introduce students to Kazakhstan's military history and deepen their respect for the country’s history and defenders. One of the largest museums in Central Asia, it showcased unique exhibits that provide insight into the nation’s military past.
The tour began with a welcome speech by the guide, who briefly explained the museum's history and significance. Students were then divided into groups to explore various halls featuring exhibitions on key events in Kazakhstan's history.
Special attention was given to sections dedicated to World War II and the participation of Kazakh soldiers in combat. Rare documents, photographs, and personal belongings of soldiers gave students a better understanding of the scale and impact of those events.
A discussion on the importance of patriotism and respect for veterans was an integral part of the event. Students asked questions, shared their impressions, and actively engaged in the learning process. The trip not only broadened their knowledge but also strengthened their pride in their country.
The "Ұлдар кеңесі" project continues its mission to instill patriotic values and respect for cultural heritage in students. Events like these play a crucial role in shaping a responsible and conscious generation proud of their nation and ready to safeguard its interests.
