The III Republican Training Camp for Young Geologists has officially started at NIS Astana-Nura. More than 60 students from Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools and the Zerde School-Gymnasium in Astana, Shymkent, Karaganda, Taraz, Taldykorgan, and Kostanay are taking part in the educational event.

The main goal of the training camp is to deepen the knowledge of students interested in geology and provide them with opportunities to learn from experienced professionals in the field. The program also aims to strengthen cooperation between schools, universities, and industry. In addition, the camp serves as a platform for preparing participants for the International Young Geologists Field Olympiad.

Lectures and practical sessions are conducted by scientists and professors from some of Kazakhstan’s leading universities, including Nazarbayev University, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, and Karaganda Technical University.
