NIS students proudly represented Kazakhstan at the Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO 2026)

NIS students proudly represented Kazakhstan at the Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO 2026), held from May 17 to 25 in Busan, Republic of Korea.
The international Olympiad brought together around 240 students from more than 30 countries. Our students demonstrated an outstanding level of preparation and achieved excellent results.
Representing Kazakhstan’s national team were students of NIS “Astana-Nura”:
• Amirbek Azatbekov — Grade 12 student — bronze medalist;
• Damir Qurman — Grade 11 student — bronze medalist;
• Argyn Seitkamit — Grade 11 student — bronze medalist.
The students were trained by physics teacher Temirlan Ismagulov.
NIS Astana-Nura warmly welcomed our medalists at the railway station. Students, parents, and teachers congratulated the young physicists on their impressive international achievements and expressed great pride in their success.
