The final exhibition of the mandatory projects "Service to Society" and "Mentorship" was organized at NIS Astana-Nura, showcasing work that has been carried out throughout the entire academic year. According to the program's framework, 11th-grade mentors guided 8th-grade students over the course of the year, helping them bring their ideas to life.
The exhibition demonstrated that the students' projects addressed profound social issues. Among the works presented, there was an extensive focus on social support measures—such as assisting the elderly and caring for those in need—alongside environmental initiatives for nature conservation and educational projects aimed at sharing experience with younger students.
The students documented their entire progress, research, and reflections in digital portfolios on the MS Sway platform, presenting them to the public. To conclude the event, mentors and coordinators evaluated the students' efforts according to specific descriptors and summarized the results of the project activity. This initiative has become a vital educational tool, teaching students not only to strive for knowledge but also to show compassion and make a meaningful contribution to the development of society.
