NIS Astana-Nura Teams Advance to FIRST Championship 2026 International Stage

The robotics teams of NIS Astana-Nura delivered a triumphant performance at the Central Asia FIRST Championship, earning the prestigious right to represent Kazakhstan on the global stage. In the FTC category, team xCeption emerged as tournament finalists and secured 1st Place for the Innovate Award, granting them a coveted slot at the 2026 FIRST Championship World Finals in Houston. Team xCellence also demonstrated high-level expertise, reaching the quarterfinals and winning 1st Place for the Think Award and the Best Pit Zone nomination, which secured their path to a Premier Event in one of the world’s leading technological hubs.

This success was bolstered by their younger peers in the FLL category: the XLNC Nova and XLNC Feral teams were honored with the Robot Performance Finalist and Tactical Execution awards for their exceptional efficiency and mission precision.
