NIS Astana-Nurа students won the online Chess Olympiad

Students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in the Nura district of Astana achieved outstanding results at the Network Chess Olympiad among Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools.

This year, more than 200 students took part in the competition across three age categories in an online format, demonstrating a high level of competitiveness and a growing interest in intellectual sports.

According to the individual results:

Among boys of grades 10–12:

1st place — Alikhan Galymbek, Grade 12A;

2nd place — Yerasyl Zhakan, Grade 12A.

Among girls of grades 10–12:

2nd place — Diana Kairbek, Grade 12G.
