🌱Victory in the International Final of Astana Hub Battle 2025

As part of the international forum Digital Bridge 2025, the final round of the Astana Hub Battle startup competition took place.

Dozens of innovative projects from Kazakhstan, the USA, Uzbekistan, the UAE, Russia, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries participated in the competition. Only 15 startups advanced to the final.

The only school team among the finalists was from our school ~ Nazarbayev Intellectual School Astana Nura. The students presented a socially significant project called MindShield, which includes a mobile application and a smart bracelet. The project is aimed at the early diagnosis of Parkinson's disease and intelligent rehabilitation using artificial intelligence technologies.

The project was presented at the forum by Fariza Ramazanova. Team members ~ Sagynys Kazieva, Aruzhan Sergaliyeva, Zhanibek Danabek, Erkenaz Orazaly, and Dilnaz Nurkhamit ~ conducted scientific research, developed the technical solution, and prepared all presentation materials, ensuring the team’s strong performance on the international stage.

The team was mentored by Kadir Maratuly, who provided full support to the students at every stage ~ from shaping the idea to preparing for a confident pitch on the international platform.

Based on the competition results, the MindShield startup was awarded the prestigious Discovery of the Year nomination.

This achievement is not only a remarkable success for our students, but also a clear example that school students from Kazakhstan can confidently compete with the world’s strongest startup teams, demonstrating high levels of knowledge and innovative thinking.
