A guest of honor from Pakistan familiarized himself with the educational activities of NIS.

On September 17, 2025, the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in the Nura district of Astana welcomed an honorable guest from Pakistan — Engineer Habil Ahmed Khan — as part of an official working visit.
During the visit, a guided tour was organized to showcase the school’s academic and laboratory facilities. The guest was introduced to the core focus areas and innovative projects implemented at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School.
The visit began in the main foyer, where the guest learned about the mission and vision of the school. The tour continued to the laser cutting and 3D modeling zones, where modern technologies for creating digital models and prototypes were demonstrated. In the IT laboratory, the guest was introduced to projects in IT design and software development.
Special attention was given to the wood workshop and a closed area equipped with specialized machinery. In the physics lab, alternative energy sources were presented, highlighting the school’s focus on environmentally friendly technologies.
The guest also explored the creative direction of the school, including the dombra (Kazakh traditional instrument) area and a hands-on crafts studio where art and traditional crafts lessons take place.
Innovative technologies in robotics and space exploration were demonstrated in the NIS Robotics and NIS Space laboratories. The "NIS Greenery" ecological zone showcased student-led projects in greening and sustainable development.
The tour concluded with visits to the school library and administrative block, followed by a closing meeting with the school leadership.
This visit contributed significantly to strengthening international cooperation between Kazakhstan and Pakistan and promoting mutual exchange in the field of education.
