Amira Shabarova, a student of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Astana, took part in two international Olympiads and demonstrated a high level of knowledge and intellectual ability, becoming a prize-winner in both competitions.
The first Olympiad — Xcel Olympiad — was held at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). This international event brought together students from various countries to compete in areas such as knowledge, logic, creativity, and innovation. The Olympiad aims to unlock the potential of talented youth across multiple disciplines — from mathematics and art to robotics and cognitive thinking. As a result of her outstanding performance, Amira was awarded the gold medal in the “Logic” category.
The second competition — Copernicus Olympiad — took place at Columbia University in New York and gathered participants from 26 countries. Students competed in several fields, including mathematics, natural sciences, physics and astronomy, entrepreneurship, and filmmaking. Amira Shabarova earned the silver medal in the “Mathematics” category.
We warmly congratulate Amira Shabarova on her impressive achievements and wish her continued success, new victories, and inspiration on the international stage!
