Student from NIS Astana Wins Bronze Medal at the International Biology Olympiad IBO-2025

The International Biology Olympiad (IBO-2025) was held in Quezon City, Philippines, bringing together around 300 talented students from 80 countries around the world.

As a result of this prestigious international competition, Aiganym Baltashova, a student of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Astana, was awarded a bronze medal.

Throughout the Olympiad, participants demonstrated a high level of knowledge and skills in both theoretical and practical rounds, covering key areas of biology such as cell and molecular biology, anatomy, genetics, ecology, and evolution.
