An Inspiring Gift to the School
26 February 2025 14:29
In honor of the school's anniversary, the leaders of the literary lounge, Akkurish Aitkulova and Bibigul Zhakiyeva, together with students from grades 7, 9, 11, and 12, presented the school with a poetry evening on the theme "About the Most Important Thing... About Love!".
From the stage, the audience heard works by great poets of Kazakh, Russian, and world literature, including Sayat Abenov, Mukagali Makataev, William Shakespeare, Viktor Tsoi, Fariza Ongarsynova, and many others.
Performing as one big "theater troupe," where there were no "teachers" or "students," the participants transported the audience into a world of poetry and inspiration.
After all, in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we rarely get to truly enjoy art. This poetry evening became a bridge connecting the learning process with the beauty of poetry.
Each performance was met with loud applause. Notably, parents also took part in the event. For example, Larisa Nurmanova, the mother of a 9th-grade student, performed a heartfelt reading of the poem "Mom, Will I Always Be Loved?" by poet Natalia Podorozhnaya together with her son. Watching their emotional performance, many in the audience struggled to hold back tears.
Another touching moment was the heartfelt poem dedicated to his beloved daughter by Yergali Kurmangaliyev, the father of an 11th-grade student.
A particularly outstanding performance was given by Saltanat Zhakenova, a 9th-grade student. She read an excerpt from "Ghashyktar Ghalamaty" by the famous Kazakh writer Mukhtar Shakhanov. Saltanat played the role of a mother, delivering an emotionally charged scene of a parent's deep concern for her daughter.
It is worth noting that the students themselves took part in writing the script. According to the organizers, the entire preparation process took only a week. When asked, "How did you manage to do everything in such a short time?", they simply answered: "It's easy! Because we were speaking about the most important thing... about love!".
