A historical performance was presented to mark the 33rd anniversary of the country's Independence

At the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Aktobe, a week of events was organized to mark the 33rd anniversary of the country's Independence, culminating in a poignant performance titled «Қасірет қақпасы».

The play depicted the tragic fate of the victims of repression, those innocently executed, and their wives who were imprisoned in the ALZHIR camp. The creators of the historical scene aimed to convey to the audience that independence is the most precious value by showcasing the suffering of national intellectuals in their struggle for freedom.

At the end of the event, the school's director, Kayirbek Buksukbayev, congratulated everyone on Independence Day and expressed gratitude to the staff and students who organized the performance.

«Now, the sovereignty of our country depends on you. The land, which our ancestors defended with spears and the strength of their hands, is now entrusted to us. 'The strength of knowledge overcomes the strength of the body,' as they say. Education is the foundation of the future. To be independent in all fields, you must be educated» - he said.

Additionally, several school staff members were awarded letters of appreciation ahead of the holiday.

This event contributed to a deeper understanding of the meaning of Independence Day and strengthened the spirit of patriotism among students.
