Republican seminar on the development of rural schools in Aktobe region

A republican seminar dedicated to the results of the pilot project "Developing the potential of small rural schools using digital technologies" was held in Aktobe today. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tamara Duissenova, Akim of Aktobe region Askhat Shakharov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Kazakhstan Khalkyna Foundation Lyazzat Chinkisbayeva, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Education Kulyash Shamshidinova, Chairman of the Board of AEO Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools Anuar Zhangozin and Director of Aktobe NIS Kayyrbek Buksukbayev.

The participants of the seminar noted the successful results of the project, which was launched last year as part of the cooperation of the AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" with the foundations "Kazakhstan Khalkyna" and the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Education. The aim of the project is to support and develop rural small schools in Aktobe region through the introduction of digital technologies and new educational methods.

As part of the project, by 2026 it is planned to cover more than 191 reference schools throughout the republic. To date, the first and second stages have been successfully completed, in which 79 schools, more than 6 thousand teachers and over 60 thousand students took part. The monitoring showed a significant improvement in the quality of education and an increase in the methodological training of teachers.

The seminar participants highly appreciated the results of the project and discussed plans for further development and scaling of this initiative to other regions of Kazakhstan.
