An open curator session entitled “Dala Qongyrauy – Teacher of the Nation” was held in Grade 10A to commemorate the 185th anniversary of Ybyrai Altynsarin, an outstanding Kazakh educator, enlightener, and writer.

The session aimed to introduce students to Altynsarin’s life and educational activities, highlight his contribution to the development of education in the Kazakh steppe, and foster respect for knowledge, learning, and the cultural heritage of the nation.

During the session, students explored the educator’s achievements, his role in advancing education, and his ideas on educating younger generations. Particular attention was given to the continued relevance of his educational legacy in modern society.

The session provided an opportunity for students to learn more about the legacy of this prominent Kazakh educator and reflect on the importance of education, personal development, and lifelong learning.
