On October 7, 2026, an off-site career guidance seminar was organized for Grade 11 students as part of the school’s career orientation activities. During the seminar, students learned about Kazakhstan’s oil and gas industry, its main areas of operation, in-demand professions, and the requirements for professionals working in the sector.

Experts representing petroleum engineering, energy, geology, and construction delivered presentations and shared their professional experiences and career journeys. Students had the opportunity to communicate directly with industry specialists, learn about different career paths, and gain a better understanding of the specific features of each profession.

The seminar broadened students’ understanding of career opportunities in the oil and gas industry, introduced them to the key competencies required in the field, and provided practical information to support their future career and educational choices.
