NIS Aktobe students won two medals at the International Olympiad

Students of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Aktobe Ayan Altai and Baglan Ruslanuly took the III place in chemistry at the International Olympiad "Tuimaada – 2024". For the first time, students of Aktobe NIS participated in this Olympiad in the subject of chemistry, and two students won prizes at once.

The Chemistry Olympiad was held in one round, consisting of five theoretical problems, including questions and elements of a "thought experiment". The duration of the competition was five hours. The guys admit that the tasks were not easy, and it was not easy to get into the prize-winners among the 60 chemical participants.

234 children from different parts of the world competed in four fields: chemistry, physics, mathematics and computer science. Earlier, NIS students in Aktobe Aidan Aitor and Alisher Yerkebayev became bronze medalists of the International Olympiad "Tuimaada" in physics.

The Olympiad is being held for the thirty-first time, increasing its popularity and prestige from year to year. This is evidenced by the expansion of geography and the number of participants.
