The international scientific and educational conference ECER 2025 (European Conference on Educational Research) is taking place in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. More than two thousand scholars, teachers, and researchers from around the world have gathered here to discuss pressing issues in the field of education.

The forum brings together over 2,600 researchers from 75 countries and includes around 2,000 scientific presentations. Among the participants are teachers from the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Aktobe, who are presenting their research aimed at improving the education system and sharing their professional experience.

The school’s research team includes Russian language teacher Aigul Minzhasarova; English language teachers Ayazhan Utegenova, Ainagul Urazalina, and Symbat Maratkizy; as well as Kazakh language teacher Altynai Dimisanova. The conference addresses the theme “Research in Education: Pathways, Potentials, and Perspectives”, highlighting studies in education that extend far beyond the traditional boundaries of the field.

Our teachers noted the findings of a study conducted by Aiman Turgaliyeva, a researcher from the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University. Her research showed that in NIS schools there is a much stronger link between ethics, respect, trust, and learning outcomes. “Students at Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools value support, open dialogue, and fairness to a much greater extent. In rural schools, indicators lag on average by 25–30%, and in urban schools by 15–20%,” emphasized Turgaliyeva.

Such a scientific and practical meeting not only allows educators to learn about the latest advancements in education, but also to exchange experiences and present their own research to the international community.
