Young Innovators of NIS Aktobe Create World-Class IT Products

10 September 2025 10:22

This summer, our students — Abdulaziz Gabitov, Kerei Berdyshev, and Jafar Mazhitov — took part in the prestigious 10-week nFactorial Summer Incubator 2025, held in Almaty at Satbayev University.

This was not just a camp, but a true challenge:

  • over 50 hours of offline training and practice per week

  • the first 3 weeks — an intensive course in Fullstack, iOS development, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)

  • the following 7 weeks — working on their own original applications

  • support from experienced mentors from leading IT companies

  • building real products with the goal of reaching 10,000 users or $1,000 in revenue

  • a final public defense of projects at Demo Day before investors, recruiters, and industry experts.

From early morning until late evening, participants worked side by side with mentors and peers to put Kazakhstan on the global technology map. A key feature of the 2025 program was the focus on product-led growth and promoting projects through short-form social media videos.

It is important to note that our students successfully passed the competitive selection process and received grants from Chevron, which enabled them to take part in this unique program.

The results are impressive:
Abdulaziz Gabitov took 2nd place with his project Tarly AI — an AI-based resume and personal website builder.
Jafar Mazhitov not only developed an app but also managed to sell it within 10 weeks! His product TryStyle.live is an AI-powered chatbot that selects the perfect item from a store catalog based on user preferences and sizes, providing a fully personalized recommendation.
Kerei Berdyshev presented his app Nomady.Live — an AI travel planner. He gained valuable teamwork experience, mastered new technologies, and is now ready to bring his own ideas to life.

We are proud of our students, who demonstrate that even high schoolers can create globally competitive IT products today!
