The pride of the school, Alikhan Kalmagambetov, met with the Head of State

The pride of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Aktobe, and winner of international academic competitions, Alikhan Kalmagambetov, has been awarded a high honor. The ceremony took place at the Akorda Residence, where the award was presented by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev.

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with the intellectuals who represented the country at international subject Olympiads and achieved victory. The President congratulated them on their accomplishments in the field of education and praised their significant contribution to strengthening Kazakhstan’s reputation on the international stage.

Among the medalists is Alikhan Kalmagambetov, a 12th-grade student of NIS in Aktobe, who recently won a bronze medal at the European Geography Olympiad (EGEO-2025) and later secured a silver medal at the International Geography Olympiad (IGeO). His diligence, perseverance, and determination led him to this well-deserved recognition. These achievements are the result of his tireless pursuit of knowledge and science, the professional excellence of his teachers, and the unwavering support of his parents.

This meeting once again demonstrated that our country places special emphasis on supporting talented youth, serving as a powerful motivation for young people to strive for knowledge, reach new heights, and believe in themselves.
