NIS Aktobe

The grand opening of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Science and Mathematics in Aktobe took place on February 25, 2013. The school is a state-of-the-art educational institution designed for 900 students and offers modern laboratories, spacious sports halls, a library, a dormitory, as well as coworking areas and specialized labs in robotics, engineering, arts, and choreography.

Our students participate in unique projects such as QMovie, TEDx, NIS Media, and contribute to the development of the Kazakh Wikipedia. With its high academic standards and competitive admissions, NIS Aktobe provides students with the prestigious “Orken” scholarship, prepares them for Cambridge examinations, and opens pathways to the world’s top universities.

The school pays great attention to the importance of scientific research and Olympiads. Our students have won prizes at leading international competitions, including Intel ISEF, IGeO, and IPhO, achieving outstanding results in physics, geography, astronomy, and robotics. Both students and teachers are authors of their own research, inventions, and publications.
