A regional stage of the World Robotics Olympiad "WRO-2023" was held in NIS Aktau

The competition, consisting of four categories, was attended by students from Aktau N. Marabayev Lyceum School No. 7, Aktau Regional Specialized Boarding School for Gifted Children, General Education Schools No. 12, No. 29, General Education School No. 2 of Munaila District, SMART ILIM Gymnasium, NIS of Aktau. The rules of the competition assessed the skills of robots in each category to perform such actions as overcoming obstacles, moving objects from one point to another. And in the creative nomination the participants presented their innovative projects and inventions. The competition, which gathered young inventors from the city schools, was intense. According to the results of the competition by the jury's decision the best ones were determined and awarded with special certificates: 1st place "Future Innovators": Automated Medical System (AMS) (NIS) 1st place" Future Engineers": SMART-ROBO (school-gymnasium SMART ILIM) 2nd place" Future Engineers": Be_team school-lyceum No.7 named after N. Marabayev. 3rd place "Future Engineers": Mozart (NIS) 1st place RoboMission (Elementary) junior group: Amir-Zhani (school-lyceum № 29) 2nd place RoboMission (Elementary) junior group: Electronics (School № 2) 1st place RoboMission (Junior) middle group: MisRobo (NIS) 2nd place RoboMission (Junior) middle group: Evil mermaids (School № 12) 3rd place RoboMission (Junior) middle group: Er-robo( NIS) 1st place RoboMission (Senior) Senior Group: Tobot (NIS) 1st place RoboSports: Kaspi (regional specialized school for gifted children) 2nd place RoboSports: NaVi (school-lyceum № 7 named after N. Marabayev) 3rd place RoboSports: Miko (NIS). The students who showed the best results of the regional stage of the Robotics Olympiad will receive a ticket to the national stage.
