"STEAM education in the conditions of modern Kazakhstan school"

Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Aktau hosted a master class on "STEAM education in the conditions of modern Kazakhstani school". The master class was held within the framework of the project "Jana Talap", implemented by Caravan of Knowledge together with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Chevron Munaigas Inc. The aim of the training was to structure knowledge on STEAM-learning in an educational environment. Effective teaching and mastering of methods, principles and strategies of STEAM literacy by teachers. And also to give each teacher the motivation to think and critically analyze the experience of teaching STEAM in school. Mangistau Humanities College, regional specialized boarding school for gifted children, teachers of general education school № 2 and school named after Nun Zhubaev in Shetpe village, teachers of NIS in Aktau took part in the training on the topic "STEAM education in the conditions of modern Kazakhstani school". Master class participants noted their interest in learning STEAM methods in their lessons and using the 5 E's learning cycle, engineering design and problem-based learning. The master class was conducted by certified STEAM trainers "Jana Talap" Gulzhan Nusupzhanova and Kairat Tleuov.
