A meeting of the Parents' Committee was held at Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Aktau city

In Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Aktau held a meeting of the Parents' Committee. At the meeting, Deputy Director for Educational Work Aibar Murzabekov presented the UN Convention on the Protection of Children to parents on the program "University of Parents". The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child is an important agreement ratified in countries that have undertaken to protect the rights of children. The Convention on the Rights of the Child explains who children are and lists all of their rights and government obligations. Aybar Beybitovic, taking the articles stated in the Convention as a basis, warned that parents should stay away from the world that poses a danger to the child: - "A 'child' is defined as every person under the age of 18 as stated in the Convention. Parents should consult the child when making any decision. Only then will the child consider himself or herself a necessary person in the family. Especially school-age adolescents need the support of the family and society. Therefore, adults should respect the child's attitude," said the deputy director for educational work.
