NIS students Rustem Orazbay and Kushjiger Zhetkizgen won 3rd place in the global Climate Science competition Climate Science (CS) Olympiad is a global competition for young people aimed at finding solutions to the most complex climate problems and giving them the opportunity to become innovative leaders in the field of climate science in the future. Rustem and Kushjiger competed with schoolchildren from all over the world and were among the top 100 teams. Thus, they won the prize among thousands of students around the world. Climate Science is a leading climate education charity based in London. The organization's mission is to make climate education credible, accessible and free for all. Climate Science organized this Olympiad to find solutions to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
