A representative of the World Health Organization visited NIS in Aktau.

On September 30, at the initiative of the @munnisa club, the school welcomed Skander Syla, the head of the WHO office in Kazakhstan.

He engaged in dialogue with students and delivered a lecture on the WHO's activities in Kazakhstan and their programs. He also addressed the topic of the dangers of electronic cigarettes. In connection with this issue, a video competition for the best advertisement against electronic cigarettes was organized. Dr. Skander awarded the winners of the competition and presented certificates to other participants.

Dr. Skander Syla has a medical background and extensive experience in healthcare, disease prevention, and the implementation of WHO programs. In Kazakhstan, he actively participates in developing and implementing initiatives aimed at improving the healthcare system and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
