A teacher from NIS Aktau set a record with participants of "Alaman Qurak" as part of the V World Nomad Games.

Art teacher Almagul Zhumaeva participated in the project alongside 450 patchwork quilting masters during the nomad games taking place in Astana and was included in the Guinness World Records. Among those who updated the Guinness records are students of the Intellectual School from Aktau — Nurailym Rysbai and Arailym Konyspaiva.

The total area of the 450 patchwork quilts laid out like a carpet simultaneously was 11,200 square meters: 16 rows wide — 40 meters and 28 rows long — 252 meters. The size of one quilt is 250/90 cm. The sewing process utilized the techniques of "Gauhartas," "Alaman," "Synyq Muiyz," and the plant patterns "Tortqulaq Qoshqar Muiyz."

To establish the record, 450 patchwork quilting masters from 19 regions participated, with ages ranging from 8 to 85 years.
