«Caspian Start-Up – 2024»

The results of the international competition "Caspian Start-Up – 2024" were announced at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Aktau.

Participants in the final round presented IT startups addressing "Innovative Ideas for Solving Environmental Issues." A total of 215 projects applied for the competition, and the best 16 projects advanced to the finals.
Winners received cash prizes of 150,000 tenge, 125,000 tenge, and 100,000 tenge, while authors of the best projects were awarded educational grants from higher educational institutions in Kazakhstan.
— The project has shown results every year, and we hope for more attention to such competitions in the future. The IT sector is rapidly developing in our country, and competition is high, — said Rinat Zhumabaev, the director of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Aktau.
The Aktaut ziyatkeres who defended the "ResQ" project — Indira Duisembaeva, Umai Sain, Nargiza Nurmukhan, Kamila Kuatova, and Fariza Gynulla — won the "Caspian Startup-2024" international competition. They also received a full grant from the Caspian State University of Technology and Engineering named after Sh. Esenov.
The NIS team from Oral, presenting the "Tazalyq" project, consisting of Makhambet Otepqali, Nursultan Zinullin, Aidana Tulegenova, Anel Ubishova, and Nargiza Yerbolatova, took second place.
The bronze prize went to the "Q-Agro" project. Its authors, student Asylzhan Abdullin from Kyzylorda, NIS ziyatker Madina Abdullina, and talented student Darhan Ashirap from the Education Innovation School in Kyzylorda, received grants from the Kazakhstan-British Technical University.
The "Agri Mo" project from NIS in Astana, consisting of Alisher Orinbay, Maulen Seitov, Ailin Nurashova, Adilet Ausarbekov, and Aliamir Kurmangazy, as well as the NIS team from Kostanay with the "UnPerfect" project, comprising Nurdaulet Igenov, Amirali Izbaire, and Nurai Erzhan, also received grants from the KBTU.
Grants from KazGUU named after M. Narikbaev were awarded to participants from Turkmenistan Shirymrat Saparumyrodov and Oraz Annagulieva. Grants from Sh. Esenov University were awarded to the projects "Eco clean box" from Aktau and "LARVA" from NIS in Oral. The sponsors of the competition, the IT holding "Ozimiz.kz," presented a cash prize of 100,000 tenge to the Shymkent team. Additionally, 50,000 tenge in encouragement prizes were awarded to the teams "FilterAirN" from Almaty and "Afeya" from Turkestan.
