The regional dance competition "Yrgaq" was held

The regional dance competition "Yrgaq" was held at Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Aktau.

The competition was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Kazakhstan's first professional choreographer Dauren Abirov and aimed at "increasing students' interest in the arts through the promotion of Kazakh and world folk dance arts."

Dance ensembles from rural areas of the region participated in the competition, with more than 160 students showcasing their talents.

Participants in the "Solo" nomination:

  • Aldongar Tomiris Anuarbekkyzy, School-Gymnasium No. 19, Aktau.

  • Oryngali Symbat, Aktau.

  • Kustai Aiaru Ablaykyzy, Aktau.

  • Matopaeva Gulrukh, Munaili District, "Onir" Children's Art School, "Baskuduk Club."

  • Amantai Khanshaiym Baurzhanqyzy, Kuryk Children's Art School.

Participants in the "Middle Group" and "Senior Group" nominations:

  • People's Dance Ensemble "Munara," Aktau.

  • "Nur-shashu" Dance Ensemble, Kuryk Children's Art School.

  • "Nurly-Arai" Dance Group, Aktau.

  • "Akku-Nazy" Dance Group, Aktau.

  • "Zhauqazyn" Dance Group, Aktau.

  • "Tumar" Dance Group, Zhanaozen.

  • Art School named after M. Sengirbekuly, Sain Village, students of 3rd-4th grades.

  • "Tumar" Dance Group, School-Gymnasium No. 19, Aktau.

  • "Shugyla" Dance Group, Aktau.

  • "Nurly-Arai" Dance Group, M. Sengirbekuly Art School.

  • "Nur-shashu" Dance Ensemble, Kuryk Children's Art School.

  • "Shalkyma" Dance Ensemble, Munaili District, Central House of Culture named after Fariza Ongarsynova.

  • "Kausar" Dance Ensemble, Munaili District, "Onir" Children's Art School, "Baskuduk Club."

  • Folk Dance School "AssaDance," Aktau.

  • "Shugyla" Dance Ensemble, Munaili District, Kyzyltope Village, School No. 2.

  • "Zhas Art DANCE" Dance Ensemble, Nazarbayev Intellectual School, Aktau.

Our participants won the Grand Prix, as well as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.

The group leaders were awarded the titles of "Best Choreographer" and "Creative Choreographer."
