On the eve of Victory Day, an educational and meaningful creative evening titled “The Heroism of Ancestors — A Legacy for Future Generations” was held at our school. The main purpose of the event was to instill patriotism in students and to preserve the memory of the courage and selfless service of veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

During the event, students from grades 7–8 performed emotional songs from the war era and delivered heartfelt monologues about the bravery of soldiers on the battlefield. Their sincere emotions and performances deeply impressed the audience.

As part of the event, students conducted research on war and labor veterans from the Mangystau region, sharing insights about their life stories and contributions to the country. These projects strengthened students’ interest in history and respect for the heroism of their ancestors.

— Today’s generation must value peaceful life and always remember the heroes who gave their lives for the country’s peace. Through such events, we aim to develop historical awareness and strengthen patriotic spirit among students, — said history teachers.

At the end of the evening, students performed the songs “Smuglyanka” and “Katyusha” in chorus under the guidance of music teachers, receiving warm applause from the audience.
