Teachers of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Aktau have received invitations to present 22 research papers at one of Europe’s most prestigious educational conferences — ECER 2026.

Since the beginning of the academic year, more than 40 teachers at the school have been conducting research on various topics and submitted their abstracts to the conference committee.

ECER 2026 is one of the leading conferences in Europe in the field of educational research. It brings together an international community of researchers across more than 30 academic fields. This year, the conference will take place in Tampere, Finland, from August 18 to 21.

— Teachers of our school have been participating in this international conference since 2017. Most of the studies are related to the learning process. While in the early years only 1–2 teachers took part, today it is encouraging that more than 40 teachers are engaged in lesson study. This progress has been supported by conference participants who shared their experience with colleagues, systematically training them in lesson study and academic writing, — noted Nurzada Yermaganbetova, Deputy Director for Research and Methodological Work.
