Shynar Sherubayeva, a teacher of Russian language and literature at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Aktau, has been selected to participate in the IV Scuola Democratica International Conference organized by the Italian academic journal Scuola Democratica.

The IV Scuola Democratica International Conference is dedicated to exploring the crucial interaction between education and democracy. This year, the conference will take place from September 1 to 4 in Rome under the theme “Learning for Democracy / Democracy for Learning.” This theme not only reaffirms the enduring importance of democratic values but also calls for their critical reconsideration and practical implementation in everyday educational and social practices.

Shynar Sherubayeva submitted her research titled “How Does the Use of Text Compression Methods Affect the Development of Reading Skills?” to the international conference.

— Mastering text compression techniques enables students to use language skills in real time to obtain, select, transform, and communicate necessary information in accordance with communicative goals, — the researcher notes.
