On April 25, an international teleconference was held between the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemistry and Biology in Aktau and School No. 36 of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The event, titled “Nauryz — A Celebration of Friendship and Unity,” brought together students from both countries. During the meeting, they gave presentations on national traditions and cuisine, performed traditional kui music, and highlighted the rich cultural similarities between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.

The participants proudly noted that the city of Aktau has been named the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World for 2025.

The teleconference was organized by teacher-curators as part of the school’s Spiritual and Moral Education Week.
