‘IMPACT Olympiad: Absolute victory of school teachers

Yernur Chakenov and Aibol Orazgaliev, teachers of the Almaty NIS Chemical and Biology Department, became absolute winners of the international IMPACT Olympiad International Creative Competition, which was held in the capital of the republic as part of the annual Zhautykov Olympiad.

The prestigious Olympiad among teachers of physics, mathematics and computer science gathered more than a thousand teachers of physics, mathematics and computer science from Kazakhstan and neighbouring countries. Participants were required to solve complex problems in a certain limited time, which added an additional load and test of endurance. Physics teacher Yernur Chakenov demonstrated high performance, coping with difficult tasks and strict requirements of the Olympiad. Out of 174 maths teachers, Aibol Orazgaliev distinguished himself by showing the best result and deservedly won the first place.

IMPACT Olimpiad is not only a competition, but also a professional platform for sharing experience and best practices among teachers and coaches who prepare their students for the Olympiads.
