On 8-9 January, the national-level festival ‘DARYN FIRST CHAMPIONSHIP’ was held at SDU University in Kaskelen, which brought together more than one thousand two hundred talented students from specialised educational institutions of Kazakhstan. During two days young engineers competed in three areas of the international FIRST programme: FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), FIRST LEGO League Challenge (FLL Challenge) and FIRST LEGO League Explore (FLL Explore).

The team of Almaty NIS of chemical and biological direction ‘PID’ showed a high result in the finals and took the 1st place in the competitive category ‘FIRST TECH Challenge’, which once again confirmed the quota for participation in the national race Central Asia FIRST Championship -2025, which will be held in the capital in February this year.
