The NIS team won gold and silver medals in The World Scholar's Cup world tournament

9th grade pupils of Almaty NIS Chemical and Biological Department Abduraimkizi Amal, Aruna Zhusupova, Madina Naubetova won 2 gold, 10 silver medals at the international tournament of young scientists ‘The World Scholar's Cup’, which since 2017 is organised by Yale University (USA), a member of the legendary Ivy League.
The team-based academic competition involving students from more than 65 countries, aiming to learn beyond the typical school curriculum, includes rounds such as academic writing, which assesses creativity and analytical thinking, team intellectual quizzes, debates, and tests of erudition in science, art, music, history and literature.
Pupils have achieved participation in the world tournament, becoming winners of the qualifying national and continental round in the UAE.
The final of the competition, the Tournament of Champions at Yale University, USA, was a star-studded event for Amal, Aruna and Madina.
